Oki – welcome to new and old friends to the February 2015 issue of www.IksokapiMagazine.com this month we bring you Iksokapi Profile Sera-Lys McArthur, an actress from Saskatchewan who is well known for her performance on CBC’s Arctic Air. This month also brings St. Valentines Day – February 14th – a day dedicated totally to love; love for ourselves, our families, our children, friends and lovers. So however you decide to celebrate this day, make it count because who doesn’t like getting chocolate and fresh flowers. And just a little advice to our male readers; women do love gifts even those ladies who go around the world stating they don’t need presents…we actually do!

I wanted to send a special shout out to the students at Siksika Nation Jr. & Sr. High School – OKI and thank you for the invite to your annual First Nations Student Success Program (FNSSP) Literacy Day. It was a honour to present www.IksokapiMagazine.com to our future leaders who will no doubt take our communities to the next level.
