Blackbird Studios/Hamilton Fashion Syndicate’s 1st Annual Supercrawl Fashion Zone
September 2 – Hamilton Ontario – World renowned, Native Canadian designer, Angela DeMontigny has been invited to feature her signature edgy designs, luxury handbags and jewelry on the runway at Blackbird Studios/Hamilton Fashion Syndicate’s first annual Supercrawl Fashion Zone. This designer fashion showcase is scheduled to take place September 13 and 14, 2014. DeMontigny’s runway show will take place on Saturday, September 13, at 5 p.m.
Both on and off the runway, DeMontigny is one of the leading authentic aboriginal designers in the world. For over a decade, DeMontigny has attracted accomplished singers, entertainers, and other successful personalities. Wardrobing credits include the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards, the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards, the Aboriginal People’s Choice Awards, and the Calgary Stampede Royalty just to name a few. Additionally, her work has been celebrated in several television shows and documentaries as well as numerous fashion, cultural, lifestyle magazines in Canada and the United States.

The opening ceremony for Supercrawl will offer a Fashion Launch Party which will be held at the Baltimore House, 43 King William Street, Hamilton, on Wednesday September 10 beginning at 8 p.m. The opening will feature an exhibit entitled, “What Is Beauty?” featuring the works of more than 15 Hamilton photographers.
